Single Review - Jadakiss feat. Neyo

I quite liked Jadkiss's songs in the soundtracks of Honey and Step Up but I have to say without the input of Neyo in this song it would be very important. IMO rap songs need a great beat or something really special to be great without adding other vocals in. Neyo's part in the song is by far the best, he makes it a good listen. Good but not great. Also the video is very boring and it seems to be like very little effort was put into it. Man walking down a street = boring! So I'm slating the vid....but the single isnt bad. Unknown Artist: Michaeline

OK you all know that every now and then we throw you a gooood singer to check out. Well this girl is fabulous. With Shakira not having success since 2006 and since JLo is taking a break after having a baby earlier this year this Latino singer is the only solution. She's mega-talented and could go far if she made her music a lil more mainstream and a lil less classic. However with a good beat and rythym teamed with her voice, she could have a big hit.

New Avril Lavigne Album

Avril's All You Will Ever Know has no set release date, in fact I have found no reference to it on he webpage AT ALL. Its starting to look a bit strange, I also find it hard to believe that the album is 28 tracks long. If anyone has any evidence that this is legitimate.

Jonas Mania

The Jonas brothers are taking over the world. Literally. Or at least millions of girls all around the world's hearts. For those of you who think David Archuleta fans are the craziest (they have been known to fix award nominations, follow him around and post spam on music websites) clearly have never met the Jonas bro's fans. Everytime I walk around the shops I here preteen and teenage girls fighting over who gets to marry Kevin....or Joe occasionally. (I have no idea what the third one's called as none of the seem to be his future wife). However, these girls might want to consider contenders such as Demi Lovato, Selina Gomez and Taylor Swift. I wonder in a battle who would win? The Archies or the Jonas's? But watching a video of two 16 year olds from Ireland, I reckon these girls would put up a good fight. Check it out its hilarious:

The Saturdays Album Review

The Saturdays debut album Chasing Lights is out today! And it is great! I personally have not found any song on the album I don't like. Vanessa, Rochelle, Frankie, Mollie and Una have done brilliantly. Of course Vanessa is the lead singer who has an amazing voice. The girls song Up is currently at number 6 in the chart and going strong. Girls Aloud should watch their backs.

On Set of Rehab

Exclusive picz from the video shoot of Rihanna's Rehab feat. Justin Timberlake. I'm liking this song, however its not as good as Breakin Dishes which they should DEFO released. This is the 6th single from Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad and I'm seriously confused as to why they are still releasing from this when songs from RiRi's upcoming 2009 album are already recorded and have been leaked.

Oh BTW...did you hear JT in this song? Nope. Thats coz he apparently wrote it. It does sound a bit like some of the tracks from his futuresex/lovesounds album. But he is playing the male lead in the video.

Video - Estelle Come On Over + Single Review

The video....its average...nothing special. I actually quite like this song though, which suprised me as I find Estelles voice annoying in the extreme. However without Sean Paul's input I don't think this would be all that good. Actually without Kanye West and Sean Paul in her first two singles from her album Shine, I think she would sound old fashioned to say the least. But Estelle will probably succeed in impressing most with this song. Not bad at all.

Sympathies

Our hearts go out to Jennifer Hudson as I am sure you have heard that her mom and brother were shot dead and her 7 year old nephew is missing. If anyone knows anything about the whereabouts of child they should come forward asap.

He Returned The Favor!

Keri Hilson and Timbaland join up again to make another hot video. Only this time the song is to Keri's credit. Not as good as The Way I Are, but that would be too much to expect. Anyways the vid is amazing! Keep it up Keri, can't wait for the album.

Shontelle Layne is an amazing singer who has only recently made a significant breakthrough in the music industry. She is Bajan, and is similar to rihanna but i think a better singer. She worked with Rihanna in 2007 witht the song Roll. She has achieved most success with her songs Colours (2005) only released in the Carribean and also with her official debut single T-shirt which is an unreal song. Her album, Shontelligence is to be releasd in November by Motown Records.

Brand New Rihanna!

Rihanna will release her new song Sexuality in her 2009 album, title yet to be confirmed. Not her best, but defo will reach high in the charts. keeping up the disco beats of her last album, Good Girl Gone Bad, seems her former reggae style is off the cards, at least for now.

Justin Timberlake is set to release his new song Steppin Out Tonight. It will feature on his new album, due for release in mid 2009. I wonder how this song has been leaked so early! Its pretty good I must say. JT lovers everywhere will go mad when this album drops!

Suprise Signing

Hip-hop ledgend Lil John has signed a huge deal with Universal Music. He will release an album in early 2009. Lil Jon has said : "I'm excited to find a new home in Universal Republic, they've got a great team over there. A lot of big things comin' from me, get ready! I been workin' hard on my new material and it's time everybody hears it!" I'm betting hip hop fans everywhere will love it!
